How not to look old: Staying young, the Charla Krupp way

“Gracefully old” is a term of yesteryears; these are days of staying young and looking great throughout life. Charla Krupp, a former beauty director at Glamour, senior editor at InStyle and beauty editor at People: Style Watch provides a fashion Bible every woman can follow. The book features a score of cheat sheets and tactics that can be used on the fly to make a woman shed many years of age from her looks. Charla's friends, who include hairdressers, make-up artists, dermatologists, designers, cosmetic dentists and personal shoppers have put in valuable inputs of their own in the book as well.

The book contains valuable suggestions on how to use hair colour properly, how to draw eyebrows, how to properly enhance lips with lipstick and liners, etc. There are also instructions for readers on wearing jeans, jewelry, shapewear and heels. She has advised readers on the items that should not feature in their closets, like old-fashioned jeans and elastic pants. She has warned that long hair parted in the middle makes a woman look older than she actually is. She has also stated that many women wear lip-liner in a way that it makes it obvious to the onlookers.
