BPL Mobile Jukebox – A New Mobile Radio Service By ‘BPL Mobile’

Mumbai’s cellular service provider, BPL Mobile has made announcement about the launching of its mobile radio service, called ‘BPL Mobile Jukebox’ that lets subscribers to listen their favorite songs while they are on-the-go. With the help of new full-song mobile music service, both post-paid as well as pre-paid subscribers can enjoy songs according to their mood.
The mobile jukebox service offers a wide collection of songs that ranges from Bollywood to Devotional, from English to Ghazals and from Retro to latest Hip Hop.
Mr. S Subramaniam, CEO, BPL Mobile said, “With our new mobile music service – BPL Mobile Jukebox, we are not just making music of our subscriber’s choice affordable, but also easily accessible on their mobile phones. It addresses the mood function of each of our users and offers them a huge variety of high quality, legal music at their fingertips.”
Being user-friendly, BPL Mobile Jukebox also helps listeners to hear songs in their favored language. Moreover, the service also permits users to store up their preferred song lists, and even present them with their previously chosen song groups or categories.
The users can also skip songs that they do not want to hear and even replay the one’s they love. If users leave out a certain mood/category over five times, they get an option of changing the category/mood that guarantees a personalized feel and easy navigation.
In order to avail the service, the subscribers have to dial 543213 in order to listen to the complete song from the 'Jukebox Catalog' that carries more than one thousand songs. The call is charged at 50p/min between 9am and 9pm, and 20p/min between 9pm and 9am.
Available at a monthly subscription of Rs 25, the new service will also be accessible on a basic entry-level non-data enabled handset.
With the help of new service, the users can also download ring tones of the songs at Rs 10/event.
